Scrap Quest

I am going to be a designer for the Faith Sister’s digital scrapbook shop. Yippie for me!  I’m excited to get started building up my inventory over there and making my designing  plans a reality.  I hope that I can help them build the site even more and contribute to a great community.  Oh and did I say…I’m so excited!!!

Well I’ve been looking for a digital scrapbook shop that is looking for new designers so I can start selling my stuff  and then one of the sites that I already was a member of posted a designer call.  It’s a great site called Faith Sisters. They are a Christain site that has a very friendly message board, a gallery, and digi shop.  I’m going to give it a shot and try out.  I have to make a mini kit using a set color swatch and in the theme “April Showers Bring May Flowers.” Here’s what I came up with…

Today is not only St. Patrick’s Day but also the birthday of both my sister and step-mom.  So happy birthday you two!  And just so you know…yes I dressed my kids in green. =)

I’ve been working some more on a few digital designs. This set is in honor of Sir Q. (my knight) and fits well with the theme of this site. Here’s a page I made using it.

I’m not sure yet if I will make it a stand alone kit or try adding some other fantasy themes to it.  For now I’ll just keep playing with Photoshop and see what happens.

So I have been doing a bunch of looking around at different digi scrapbook sites and wow-zers there’s a lot of them.  I found Digi Shop Talk to be a great site with lots going on.  Almost too much for me but definitely a place to find out what is happening in the digi world.  They’ve got a place where shops can post designer calls, so I think I’ll start stalking that while I keep working on my designs.  I’ve got so many cute ideas, if I don’t get them out soon my head might explode!
