We took the boys over to a “pumpkin patch” (its a lawn in front of a local church that set out tons of pumpkins) and tried to get some photos. Sir Q did his usual thing and wouldn’t look at the camera and threatened several times “I go home!” His brother on the other hand, was a little concerned about the giant orange things we kept putting him down next to.

We did get them to hold hands and walk around a little bit, but Capt. C doesn’t keep up very well.

And this is what we get when we tell Sir Q to lean on the tree to get his picture taken. If you can’t tell he is showing me how to punch the tree “right here.”

We are having wonderful weather and the boys and I have been taking advantage of it. We’ve been playing outside just about everyday and today I took my camera out with us to get some fall pictures. The vines on our fence are turning wonderful red colors and the trees are golden. I can’t wait to scrap the cute pictures I got of both boys swinging together on our swing set. I am hoping to take them this weekend to one of the local churches that has a pumpkin patch setup on their lawn and get some pictures but for now I will leave you with one of my favorite pictures from today.

These layouts were done using my newest digital scrapbook kit, The Wild Thing King. This first one is of Sir. Q, the day after Halloween a couple years ago. He was just a little over 2 years old and we went to a neighbor’s party the night before. He didn’t really play with anyone there, but instead just ran around everyone. He tripped over a tree root and fell into the tree giving himself a shiner. He also fell on the sidewalk and gave himself a big bump on his forehead. By the end of the night, he looked like he had been in a fight.

Here is another one of Sir Q when he was one. He was sharing a book with the kitty and it looked like she was actually paying attention, but I think she was just hoping for some petting.

And of course we have our littlest Wild Thing, Capt. C being he usually silly self. I love the way he sticks out his tongue.
