New Kits for November

I’ve been busy designing several new kits and they are now in my Faith Sisters shop.  The first one is a mini kit called Angel of Autumn.  This is the first in a series I plan to do.  Perfect for autumn harvest pictures.

The Faith Sisters site is hosting a “12 Days of Christmas Challenge” and each of the designers has designed a kit of each of the days.  My kit is based on day seven and features elegant swans and lots of icy blue colors.

I have also have some new calendar topper templates that you are going to love.  There are 12 different layout templates and 1 calendar grid template with all 12 month overlays.  Combine your best pictures and favorite kit for a great project you can enjoy all year long.

Sunday Scraps

I have a couple of new layouts to share with you.  This first one is from a picture of Sir Q sleeping on the couch last year.  I keep seeing these fun whimsical art style layouts and wanted to try making my own.  I extracted Sir Q from my photo and then layered all of the elements around him so that instead of sleeping on the couch, he is sleeping in the grass surrounded by cute critters.  The kit I worked with is from a Faith Sisters Designer, Designs by Angel, and is called Nature’s Garden.  This layout was also featured on the front page of the Faith Sisters blog in their Made You Look Monday post last week.  :)

This next one is of Capt. C and documents the trouble I have taking his picture now that he can walk.  I used two fun kits by TMA Designs called I Love Whoo and I Love Whoo Too.  This layout was created from a template I made for my designer challenge over at Faith Sisters.

I’ve been super busy working on my new products for November, so I didn’t get as much personal scrapping done but I’ve been taking lots of pictures so more layouts are definatly to come!

Halloween Recap

I’m finally getting around to sharing some pictures of my cute little super heroes.  Sir Q. was Ironman and Capt C. was Wolverine.  A couple days before Halloween, we took the boys up to our local science museum for a Preschool Carnival.  The boys had a great time and got to do a bunch of fun activities.

We got a pumpkin for Sir Q. to decorate and while he was excited at first, he was very grossed out by the inside of the pumpkin and refused to help.  I also couldn’t get him to pick out what to carve into the pumpkin so I asked hubby what he wanted and this is the pumpkin we ended up with. (Its one of the guys from the game he plays.)

Then we took the boys up to the mall on Halloween to do Trick-or-Treating.  Sir Q. took a few times before he caught on that they were putting candy in his bag, but once he did he was going up to anyone that looked like they were handing out something and said “trick-or-treat!!” and held out his bag.

We then finished the night by stopping over at the Grandparent’s house to get pictures of the boy’s with their cousin, who was Spiderman, and headed over to a friend’s house to hang out.
