I did both these layouts with Designs by Angel’s new kit Pass, Trap & Goal. My boys don’t play soccer yet, but they do have a lot of fun playing ball with each other. This kit has great colors that will work for both boys and girls and I really love the soccer alphabet!

I worked with the beautiful new kit from Cinda and fell in love with the great colors and textures. Come to find out the colors were inspired by her pets, Lacey and Monet. Well this is the most gorgeous pet kit I’ve seen. Actually this kit works great for any kind of layout you can think of; heritage, babies, weddings and more. You can find the papers and embellishments in her shop at Faith Sisters and Divine Digital.

Here are a few layouts I did with the kit. This first one is of Capt C and me just moments after he was born. I didn’t get to see Sir Q right after he was born, so I was really set on making sure I could stay awake when Capt C was born. It was an amazing moment!

This one is of some cute pictures I had taken when Sir Q was about 10 months old. I thought the sepia tones worked great with these papers.

This last one is also of Sir Q. These were our Christmas pictures when he was a little over a year. I just love the expression on his face!

And with Cinda’s permission, I have a little freebie for you! I turned that last layout into a quick page that you can grab for free HERE! This is a great way to get a little taste of what this kit has to offer, but trust me, your gonna want more than a taste!
It finally feels like spring! I’ve been spending some time outside trying to get my yard and flower beds in shape. I’ve also been doing some cleaning and organzing inside the house. Which leads to to a couple of things I want to share with you. I’ve been doing some organizing of my paper scrapbook supplies and while I do most of my scrapbooking digitally now, I have been creating cute little tags and such with my scrap stash and you can now find them in my etsy shop, http://www.scrapquest.etsy.com.
Speaking of digital, I also have a new blog for my digital designs and services, http://www.mylilguy.com, as well as a etsy shop, http://www.mylilguy.etsy.com. You will find all sorts of fun designs for invitations, announcements, party decorations and more.
So now that I have stepped down as a designer at Faith Sisters and started up this new site, what can you expect here? Scrap Quest will still be where I share my personal layouts, pictures and digital goodies. I have been blessed to have a couple of great designers, Angel and Cinda, invite me to be part of their teams. So you will see my work with their designs and find some free digital goodies that they let me share with you.
I hope you will check out my new site, My Lil’ Guy, and continue to check in on the adventures here. Happy Spring!
