My littlest has been sick today but he still managed to make me smile with his cuteness. I love the little faces he makes when I try to help him.
We’ve been meaning to have a family photo taken for a long time, well since Capt. C was born! My sister-in-law got a spiffy new camera recently, so she went with us to the park to try and get some pictures. The boys did pretty good, although they would have much rather spent the whole time running around. I love how the pictures turned out. They look great with the natural setting and the boys personalities really came through. I did do some photo editing and cropping to get them just the way I wanted.

So as I posted before Capt. C is learning how to walk. Of course when he started trying, we kept calling to him and reaching out in hopes that he would walk to us. I decided to get the camera out in hopes of capturing those first steps on video, but instead I got a funny moment of Sir Q grabbing Capt. C and “helping” him.
Of course when he took his actual first big steps, I didn’t have the camera. But I did get a video a few days later of him taking a few steps, while trying to avoid the kitty speed bumps.
And I’ll just throw this one in here because it cracks me up. Capt. C loves playing with his big brother, even if big brother doesn’t always play fair. I love the chanting “I win, I win” at the end.
We had a great time at Sir Q.’s birthday party. I managed to get the Word World cake figured out and he loved it. We had about 6 kiddos total and very few tears so I would say that it went well. It was a little crowed in our living room but I think everyone had a good time playing. Here’s a quick collage of the day. I’m working on geting some scrapped and will share them soon.
